The metal stamping parts processed in the metal stamping workshop are an indispensable part of automobile production. 2、 The process of metal stamping parts is complex

Except for some purchased semi-finished products, all kinds of metal stamping parts required by the car body workshop are produced by the stamping workshop. The production of each metal stamping part generally requires a processing process. The main production processes include unwinding and cutting, stretching, shaping, edge cutting, punching, and flanging. Among them, uncoiling and cutting is to place the sheet metal on the cutting machine before stamping production, and process it into a geometric shape suitable for stamping production. Different stamping parts require different production processes, and different production processes require the replacement of different molds for processing. Due to the fixed production process route for each metal stamping part, the process route for producing metal stamping parts is complex, leading to difficulties in production scheduling.

Instead, it considers production change time, cutting frequency, and production economics. On this basis, batch production is adopted sequentially. Batch rotation production refers to dividing the metal stamping parts arranged within the production plan cycle into several batches according to the needs of the car body workshop. Each batch can be produced once a day, and the final quantity will be completed within the planned cycle. The advantage of mass production is that it will not make the production time of a single batch of metal stamping parts too long, which will affect the production of other metal stamping parts and lead to downstream workshop use, thus reducing production costs.

5、 Limitations on changes in production batches

The production plan of the stamping workshop is determined by the body workshop to determine the types and quantities of stamping parts required, as well as the inventory of stamping parts in the stamping workshop. However, in the production process of metal stamping parts, there will be many uncertain factors, such as raw material shortages, changes in demand in the body workshop, punching machines, mold failures, etc., which will lead to changes in production. However, considering that a small production batch will increase the number of mold changes, while a large production batch will lead to the accumulation of finished product inventory and increase production costs, a more reasonable range of changes should be determined based on the production batch.
